Clive, you were a dear friend and colleague, introducing me to the ways of the Guildhall School and the City of London. We shared a love of Elgar, his Dream of Gerontius in particular, among other musical tastes. You were wonderful company and always had a great sense of fun. You will be missed by many. Dear Clive, thank you for being such a close friend for 42 years since I started work at Guildhall. You were the first person I met and you were very kind to me as I was a very scared 17 year old! I'll always remember your fun & cheeky sense of humour! We had so much fun over the years with the Guildhall Gang.All those rolls and danish pastries we've had!! I will miss you very much. You're now
