I will miss Alan greatly. He was a warm and generous man who would give you unwavering help and support no matter what. Alan was a fantastic mentor with a positive outlook to life that he instilled in you. Just being in a room with him would raise your spirits, especially when he smiled. I can only hope to aspire to be half the man he was.
