In loving memory of Flora Russell who sadly passed away on 26th January 2025 at home with loved ones around her. Born in Cyprus with her Greek Cypriot heritage as the youngest of four children; she came over to England at the age of 16 and started her own family in London having a total of 9 children, 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

In her younger years she used to love sewing on her sewing machine, going to bingo and was always known for her green fingers until now. She spent her free time in her beloved allotment and sharing all her home grown fruit and vegetables with friends, family and the local community.

Flora was described as one of the kindest people you could meet and she will be missed by many.

Her funeral details can be found here and she will be leaving for the final time at 10am, flowers and condolences may be sent to her address.

From the first day I started my job and the building caretaker Flora would always come out and have a chat while I'm going past her flat, asking how I am, how my children are.

Flora was always giving me and my colleagues random fruit and veg from her beloved allotments still to this day I can't pronounce the names of half of them.

It's genuinely been a honour having a friend like Flora she will be missed greatly by alot of people in the community and of course the family my blessings go out to you.

On behalf of me and my colleagues rest in peace Flora you can rest now.

May lperpetual light shine upon your peaceful soul
Sadly I am going to miss you and your friendliness motherly approach to me. Any time I passed by the allotment I fondly remember how you usually worked into the pharmacy to give me your freshly picked vegetables.
As you take your peaceful rest, may God continue to bless your soul. Alie @ pharmacy
