This obituary is in loving memory of Anne Margaret Remfry who sadly passed away on 2nd February 2025. Anne was born to Frank and Edna Berry in Walthamstow in 1941.

A younger sister to Geoff, she enjoyed spending time as a Girls' Guide, later becoming a Queen's Guide due to her dedication and commitment.

In Anne's first marriage she would have three children: Paul, Richard, and Kate. Later Anne married Ken and the pair went on to have Louise.

Spending time living in South Africa while Ken worked there, the pair would meet many lifelong friends.

They would return to the UK and Tamworth. Anne and Ken loved to travel and enjoyed holidaying all around the world.

In later life, Anne would immerse herself in the SpeakEasy community after recovering from a stroke. She loved jigsaw puzzles and spending precious time with family.

In recent times, Anne's health deteriorated fairly rapidly due to a combination of medical conditions and sadly she passed away surrounded by family early in the morning of 2nd February 2025. She is warmly remembered and missed sorely every single day.

Hello Everybody,
I would just like to say an enormous thank you for attending the funeral and reception and for showing your respect, love and support for Mum. Your kind words, flowers and donations have been very gratefully received by all the family.
I hope Mum felt the love we all showed her. Mum was the most wonderful woman who has left many memories for us all to hold dear.
As we as a family try to carve a life without Mum we will take great comfort from everybody's kind words and gestures.
Kindest regards and take care
Kate and family

We were certainly destined to meet Anne and sister in law Maureen when we went on our holiday on a land tour across Canada followed by an Alaskan cruise in 2009.
We had to cancel our first booking in 2008 and rebook for 2009.
We made a forever friendship - going on several cruises together and then many coach tours with Parrys International both in the UK and Europe.
We also used to meet up for lunch, usually in Tamworth, and kept in regular contact by phone.
A lovely lady who will be sorely missed.
Love Ann and Mick
