Geoff, it was a pleasure to share the sideline with you cheering on Cliffe Royals when they scored and shouting when they missed - hot chocolate in hand on the freezing cold mornings. You were a true gentleman with an infectious laugh and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew you.
Love, thoughts and very best wishes to your loving family from Matt, Lisa, Harry & Grace xxx

Dear Geoff - you was a great friend and guide to me to me at Grindlays when I started work at 16 over 30 years ago. We had such a laugh, so many times. Golf and cricket weekends, pub every Friday afternoon, darts, quizzes at work and generally during working hours!! What a larger they life character. RIEP mate, love Markie x

Geoff it’s been a privilege and pleasure to of known you and to have spent time with you , especially on the touchline with the boys through heartache and Joy . You leave with great respect and fondness from all the boys and coaching staff at the football over the years . A proud man and grandad. I have missed your socks up high over your trackies and sliders on 😂😂 I see where Kate gets it from . I hope you’re proud of all your family as I know they are off you as too being a great dad and grandad . Sorry myself and Nik can’t attend but I feel there will be a lot of love shared on the day . ❤️💙🙏

I have so many wonderful memories of Geoff over the years that we lived in Hoo. He always had a smile and a positive outlook on all things in life. He adored, and was adored by, his girls - I remember how much they used to love spending time with him, especially drinks in the gardens. I went to many a party, with Geoff always on the dance floor - striking out some very cool dad dancing. Geoff and John were always entertaining everyone, especially at the bar. Above all he was just a lovely bloke that everyone wanted to be around, he made you feel good.
Geoff will leave a big hole in many people’s lives, but it’s filled with brilliant memories of a brilliant man. Rest easy.

You will always be at the head of the table finding something ridiculously funny. There are just no words to express how we will all miss that laugh of yours. My heart will forever be broken 💔

Dear Geoff, when I think of you you are on the sidelines of the football pitch wearing your football coat and red football socks pulled up over your tracksuit. You are standing with John, sharing a joke and a packet of sweets. Fun times and fond memories of a very special man 💙 Sleep tight xxx

Geoff! We first met you when you gave us the most fabulous tour of the Houses of Parliament. You so wonderfully and generously shared the enthusiasm and excitement that working in this amazing environment gave you, and all with great humour! We will always remember you like that. RIP.
