In loving memory of George Mankel, who sadly passed away on 7th February 2025.
The dearly loved husband of Sarah, much-loved Dad of Matthew and Emily, and a beloved brother and uncle. George will be very sadly missed by all his family and friends.
A funeral will be held at Barnby Moor Crematorium, Ranby, Retford, DN22 8FL on Monday 24th February at 14:00.
Sarah, Matthew, and Emily would also welcome you to join them afterwards at Bawtry Memorial Sports Ground, Bawtry, DN10 6JH to celebrate George’s life.

I'm so sorry to hear of George's passing. There are few in life who carry a huge wealth of knowledge and yet share it with such beautiful humility. I am privileged to have known George. My thoughts are with Sarah, Matthew, Emily and the family circle.

An inspiration a comic genius and a truly amazing friend. George was great fun to be around. He never sort the spotlight, yet he was always the life and soul of the party. He gave so much to so many and will be sorely missed by all that knew him. A tragedy to lose him far too soon.
