In loving memory of David Roy Geddes who sadly passed away on 21st December 2015.
You are welcome to attend the thanksgiving service for the life of Roy. As this will be a celebration of Roy's life, black is optional.
We would prefer donations to the Nottingham NHS trust who cared for Roy during the last days of his life in place of flowers. If you wish, you may donate online or there will be a collection box at the church.
Thanks you

So sad you are no longer with us at English class Roy!! You were a delight to have around. God bless you Jacqui and all your family.

Roy will be greatly missed at the English class at Cornerstone Church on Thursday mornings, where he and Jacqui have been helping for over a year. His kindness, gentleness and great sense of humour were much appreciated by the team and the learners alike. He used to say to me that he didn't know what he, a Geordie, was doing, teaching English! But I told him it was good for the learners to experience a genuine British accent, and he would just smile benignly.

We thank God for the privilege of having known Roy, and we continue to hold Jacqui and family in our thoughts and prayers.

God bless,
Heather Miller, and the English Team

Rest well canny lad. We're sorry to hear of your passing, we loved you and will miss you dreadfully. We've so many happy memories of times we spent with you and Jacqui and we'll treasure them all. We'll always be here for Jacqui and the 'bairns' - they know they have our love and support.

Until we meet again 'old' friend, God bless. Sue & Clive x

I am very sad and shocked by the news. Roy had a neurological condition and although he was not my patient, we often talked about the NHS and medical care in Nottingham. I liked him very much and will miss him.

Roy was the best brother in law anyone could have. He was a wonderful husband to my darling sister. He was kind, understanding and supportive all topped off with a wicked sense of humor! His home was your home and he welcomed us with open arms...He went too soon and we will miss him terribly. Cherie & Karl
