In loving memory of Elvy who died peacefully on 31st January 2025 in Maplewood House Nursing home. Who looked after him with care, compassion and dignity.
Born in Gravesend the youngest child of Hilda and Sidney in 1931.
He was a quiet, loving, patient , unassuming, talented and hard working family man with a life long love of animals, he loved his cat Panda, who was company for him in the last years of his life..
Predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Josie. He has had some hard times in the last few years. Firstly he had to cope with the loss of his son in law Terry at only 61. Then devastated with the loss of his loving wife Josie, and his youngest child and only son, Elvy jnr, who was taken far too young at 62
Elvy is survived by his daughters Josephine and Janet, grandchildren Katie, Daniel, Matthew, Robert, Trevor and Elizabeth and 13 great grandchildren.
His legacy will be that of love and compassion in all we do going forward. Will be missed so much
Please wear colours to the funeral. His life is to be celebrated passing at a wonderful age of 93
