He was my Mum and Dads Social Worker many years ago and was absolutely the best at his job.I would not have got through their illnesses without the advice and care from Hywel he had so much empathy and understanding and was admired by both families and staff at Care Homes.Thankyou Hywel you made a big difference to us all.RIP lovely man.

I am so sorry I am not able to get to the funeral today. I really wanted to be there but unfortunately it is not possible. It was such a shock to hear of Hywel's passing just as I was planning to reply to his regular Christmas message. I will miss his letters and messages. Keeping the family and its memories in touch. Sincere condolences to Lynne and Debbie. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers this morning. Much love from cousin Ruth xx

Hywel was a true friend for over 50 years. We shared a sometimes quirky sense of humour, and enjoyed reminiscing about our time in Aberystwyth and the characters we knew in NCE. Jackie and I will miss our annual rendezvous in Criccieth! Sorry we can’t join Lynne and the family on the 24th, but you are assured of our love and prayers always. Gorffwys mewn hedd, Hywel.
