In loving memory of Jean Elizabeth Oliver who sadly passed away on 20th January 2025
Born Jean Elizabeth Fletcher to Laura and Allan Fletcher in Sunderland, Jean had a very happy childhood. She was a cradle Catholic and her faith in God lasted right up to the moment of death and of course beyond.
She was "born a lady" and was kind, considerate, loving and generous. There was never a bad word spoken about anyone and she was always positive even during her last difficult 5 years. She was a strong and determined person but never at the expense of others. An inspiration to us all.
With a First Class Honours Degree in Pharmacy from Manchester University she enjoyed her profession albeit in more recent decades acted as a kind and considerate Landlady.
Her love of family and family reunions was immense and there was always the group photo when everyone met. Her family's Scottish roots no doubt reinforced the "clan" and there was no doubt she was the Matriarch of the family.
She leaves her husband, 3 children and 7 grandchildren all of whom miss her beyond words can say.
Now with her beloved Jesus Christ but no doubt still keeping a watchful eye on us all.
