Rod and I were truly saddened to hear the passing of Tom.

Heather and Tom were lovely neighbours. Always happy to have ‘one for the road’ with you Tom. So many lovely memories!

Unfortunately when they moved we lost touch.
Thinking of you Steve, Sue and families.

Tom and I were brought up in Hunt Avenue Netley, I at 52, and Tom at 54. Eventually they moved to New Road. We both attended Hamble School although Tom was 2 years older. Both families had dug shelters for the War in the garden, and we had them connected, so that we could share the many nights down there. Tom went on to the Technical College where he was trained as a Plumber. Eventually I went there and became a Bricklayer. Sadly Tom has been very poorly for a number of years. In all the years we lived next door I can never remember a crossed word between the families. God Bless Tom you will be sadly missed.
