In loving memory of Mary Lyons, Nee Ward of West Bridgford, Nottingham. Formerly of Fartown, Glenamaddy, Co Galway, Eire. Passed away peacefully at home.
Beloved wife of Martin Lyons (deceased). Loving mum to Michael, Mary, Christine, Martin and Margaret. Loving Grandma to Lydia, Laura, Rebecca and Olivia; Natalie and Nicola; Ryan and Sarah; James and Samuel; Miah and Freya. Great Grandma to Yusuf, Arianna, Sophia, Esme, Ariella, Ricardo, Lily and Toby.
Sister to Margaret Naughton, Johnny Ward, Patrick Ward (deceased) and her twin brother, Tommy Ward (deceased).
Funeral Arrangements :
Wednesday 26th February: Reposing at home from 1.00pm before Reception into the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, West Bridgford at 5.00pm.
Thursday 27th February: Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by burial at Wilford Hill Cemetery.
Refreshment details to follow.

Flowers are welcome. As we are a large loving family, we recognise that not every old person has that support. Any kind donations in Mary’s name can be made to Age UK.

To my cousins in Nottingham, I am so sorry for to hear aunty mary passed away, she was one of the best. I have so many beautiful memories of her over the years. I have such wonderful memories of Aunt Mary and her family when we would visit from the US and meet in Ireland, when I was a child. I saw the beautiful funeral mass online, and it was a perfect tribute for a kind and special lady. My husband and I are thinking of all of you and hope that happy memories will help to ease your sorrow. Aunt Mary, may you in rest in peace!
