Annie (Nancy) Reid (Passed away 24 Jan 2025)

In loving memory of Annie (Nancy) Reid who sadly passed away on 24th January 2025 at the age of 91. Originally from Morpeth, Nancy lived in Almondbury, Huddersfield for last 52 years and had only recently moved into Aden View Care home , Primrose Hill due to dementia.
Nancy was a real character who never lost her Northern roots or accent and loved going back ‘home’ throughout the years for holidays, to see her brothers families who had remained there.
Nancy was married to Joe for 50 years before he passed in 2002. She lived a long and happy life surrounded by their 7 children (and their husbands and wives), their 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren who all loved her dearly and will miss her forever.
Funeral service will take place at Huddersfield Crematorium on Friday 28th February 2025 at 11:15am. Friends please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Nancy may be made for the benefit of Aden View Resident Fund. Following the service refreshments will be served at Kirkheaton Conservative Club.
