When I was driving home this afternoon I had a mental picture of what it meant to be loved. I thought long and hard and came up with the following. The image I had when looking round the service earlier, the sad, happy, ecstatic, down faced that we're etched on everyones faces amazingly at the same time I found it fascinating. I will miss my mate Nick. He was an of original, saw the world different, not shy in voicing his opinions, crazy taste in music. Many a gig we went to and extremally good looking - bless him. These we're a few of the many reasons I was proud to call him my friend. Sleep well trooper as we all have war stories to tell. Everyone that spoke today I take my hat off to you. That really took guts. Take care everyone that was there today. You're in my heart now. :-)

Best friend at Appleton school. So many memories, so much fun together. We had great times mate and your passing has shocked me. You'll always be part of my past and I'll Keep remembering you into the future.

I've a few pictures of me and Nick when we we're young and care free. This is definitely my favourite. We had some great times. I'm going to miss him. He was most certainly a 'one of' original. Gone too soon.

Nick was such a wonderful character, I loved his turn of phrase and honesty. His lack of filter was highly amusing. He was a wonderful husband and loved Louise dearly. His passing is with great sadness and he will be sorely missed.
