On 15th January 2025, peacefully, at Holme House Care Home, Gomersal, aged 96 years, Edna, beloved wife of the late Jim, much loved mother of the late Susan, caring grandma of Julie and Jane, cherished great grandma of Charlotte, Mia, Estelle and Alexander and great great grandma of Aida, Marnie and Fredrick. Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Friday 14th February 2025 at 2pm. Friends and family please gather at the crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Edna can be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

Edna & Jim were wonderful friends to my mum & dad ( Alison & John malpas) when they bought their first home on scout hill. Mum & Edna remained friends.
I've lovely childhood memories of going to visit with mum & coming home with chocolate biscuits from Jim's work.
Mum sadly passed away before Christmas & we talked about Edna wrongly presuming she had already passed away.
I'm sure Edna , Jim & mum will be having a lovely catch up now xxx Kirsty, Lucy & John xx
