Peacefully after a short illness with her loving family by her side on January 16th aged 88 years, Winnie (nee Glover).
The dearly loved wife of the late Derek. Adored mam of David, Tracey and the late Karen. A dear mother-in-law to Margaret and Barrie. A loving nana to Christopher, Liam and Nathan. Also a special great-nana to Marley and Livy. A great auntie, sister, sister-in-law and a good friend to many. Dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends please meet on Friday February 7th for a service in South Hetton Independent Methodist Church at 12:15pm. Committal to follow at Durham Crematorium.

All are welcome afterwards to The Robin Todd Center for refreshments and to carry on the celebration of Winnie’s life. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers are kindly received for the work of both St Cuthbert’s Hospice and Macmillan. A donation box will be available at the Church.

You and mam certainly knew how to party and you never ever lost that mischievous glint in your eye. You were a lovely lovely woman Winnie and I like to think you and mam are back partying together wherever you are. Xx
