In loving memory of Jessie Pedlar who sadly passed away on 16th January 2025
Jessie was a wonderful wife to Sam, mother to Susan and Christopher and a much loved lady to the whole family.
She remained interested in everything going on in the family’s lives & life in all its aspects.
Jessie was 98 years old when she died, only just over a year from her 100th birthday and throughout her long life had remained very healthy apart from a back issue which fortunately didn’t stop her doing everything she wanted.
Jessie was married for 68 years until Sam died in 2021 so she enjoyed a long and happy marriage and they were an example to the family and all who knew her.
Jessie is going to be missed so much by all who knew and loved her and she will remain forever in our hearts and minds.

It was with great sadness that I learnt of Jessie’s passing. Samuel was my mother’s cousin and her only close relation. Betty always spoke of Samuel and Jessie with fondness, and Jessie was the last connection I had with my mother’s generation. We met only seldom, but it was a comfort to have this family connection. Hilary and I were so grateful when they attended our daughter’s wedding and helped identify people and places in early family photos.
With sincere condolences
Howard

Jessie was my cousin. Her dad, my uncle JAck and my dad, were brothers from Durham. I, as a teenager, was an usher at Jessie’s marriage to Sam. We rather lost contact in mid-life,but often visited them in their later life in Sutton Coldfield. They were both a delight. I remember J going for a weekly swim in her 80s, and Sam’s epic cycling.
With loving condolences
John
