John Holmes was born on March 13, 1956 to Jean and Ernest Holmes he was the oldest child among two brothers, Pete and Michael and lived a life filled with dedication to his craft and love for his family. A skilled plater by trade, John found immense joy in the art of creation. Whether it was shaping metal into intricate forms or crafting something with his own hands, his work was not just his profession but a deep passion.

John met the love of his life, Patricia Holmes, and together they embarked on a journey of love that would have celebrated 50 years on January 25, 2025. Their bond was one of mutual respect, laughter, and shared dreams. They built a life together that was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they welcomed a daughter, Jane, into their lives, expanding their family with joy and love. Jane, in turn, gave them the gift of a grandson, Daniel, bringing new light and laughter into their home.

John passed away on December 28, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship, love, and family. He was not only a plater but a creator, a husband, and a friend to many. His memory will continue to inspire all who knew him, through the beautiful things he made and the love he shared with Patricia.
