It is with great sadness that we as a family announce that John Brian Augustus sadly passed away on 8th December 2024. Brother , father , uncle & son, and a great friend who was loved by so many.

John's funeral will be held on Tuesday 18th February 2025 at 1pm at
Wilford Hill crematorium Loughborough Rd, Nottingham
NG2 7FE
for family and friends to say farewell and celebrate John's life.

As an extraordinary, larger than life character, John was extremely well known and respected by so many people. Please help us to reach out to others by sharing these details with anyone that may wish to join us in paying their respects and giving John the send off he truly deserves.

Order of proceedings:

John will start his final journey from A.w lyms carlton to Wilford crematorium with a short procession at
The Chapel
in Wilford Hill crematorium where the service will commence at 1pm

Due to a high number of people expected to attend and to help proceedings run smoothly - we respectfully request that where possible, those wishing to join us confirm their attendance using the Attendance tab on the obituary to let us know.

We also request that John's family and close friends are seated in the church at the front as filming will be taking place during the ceremony. Thank you.

Following the service, the family invite you to a celebration of John's life
from 3pm till late for food and drink and sharing memories . The wake venue will be announced
