In memory of Hazel Barbara Caroline Whitelock who sadly passed away too soon on 1st January 2025.

Loving wife to Rob. Mum to her son Russell, her daughter Rowan and Fiancé David. Also Grandma to Isla and Charlotte.

She leaves a gap in our lives that will now only be filled by loving memories and the echo of her smile.

We are sending Hazel on her last ramble dressed in her familiar walking gear. You are invited, if you wish, to attend the funeral dressed as though you are going for a Sunday afternoon stroll in Derbyshire.

If you wish to make a donation to the Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group rather than send flowers, that would be great and also help other people with Hazel's condition.

Gone far too soon. I only met Hazel a few times but she came across as warm, welcoming and resilient. It was obvious that her family meant the world to her. What a blessing that she got to meet Isla and Charlotte.

We were only privileged to meet Hazel a few times but it was clear on those occasions she was a strong spirit and was devoted to her family. Rob's steadfast care for her is an example to us all.
