We invite you to join us in honouring the memory of Iciar Senovilla Cearsolo, who passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2024. Iciar's warmth, resilience, and zest for life touched all who knew her.

Capacity: 120 seated guests + 50 standing

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The British Red Cross, an organization that provided invaluable support to Iciar. Donations can be made using the button at the top right of this webpage.
For those wishing to send flowers, they may be delivered to the funeral director's office (A.W. Lymn Beeston, Trent House, 106, Station Rd, Beeston NG9 2AY) by noon on the day of the service.
Iciar's life was a testament to love, family, and friendship. Let us come together to celebrate the joy she brought to our lives and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.
P.S. Iciar would have hated the profile photo above, but we have used it as it was taken a few days before she died and we think it shows her resilience and how she made the most out of every moment right to the end.

Iciar era una persona alegre, avispada, divertida, con muy buen sentido del humor… a la par que peculiar; muy activa, súper emprendedora, y con las ideas muy claras tanto en los negocios como en la vida.
En Glamorgan vivimos con Iciar uno de los mejores años de nuestras vidas. Cada día era una nueva aventura, una fiesta, una excursión, una confesión, un canción, una ilusión, un beso, un cotilleo, un nuevo amigo, una moña (light), y un sin fin de cosas increíbles.
De Iciar nos quedamos con sus ganas de vivir la vida a tope, de reírse contigo, de olvidar las penas, de dar cariño, y sobre todo, de su amistad.
Fuimos muy pocos los testigos directos de esa gran historia de amor: la de Jay e Iciar. Desde que se conocieron su amor estaba claramente escrito, aunque desgraciadamente (sobre todo para Jay) tardase todo un curso académico en poder materializarse. Y es que la diferencia de edad entre ambos en aquel entonces pudo parecer importante,y eso a Iciar quizás le pudo asustar... Es por eso que ese curso del 96/97 fue para ambos un camino lleno de espinas y rosas con el que ambos gozaron pero también sufrieron, sobre todo, Jay…
Está claro que, todo el mundo excepto Iciar, veíamos que ese amor era inevitable, hasta que por fin, el corazón venció a la razón, lo cual dió paso finalmente a una maravillosa historia de amor, de la que todos hemos sido testigos.
Querida Iciar:
allá donde estés, espéranos con la petaca de Teacher’s y la musica puesta a tope, nos volveremos a ver para celebrar juntos nuestra amistad y bailar y reir eternamente.

Iciar was a wonderful friend and this photo captures her spirit - during lockdown, we weren’t allowed indoor parties, but that didn’t stop her. We got together in our garden and celebrated our sons’ birthdays. Iciar loved a party! We will all miss her x
