Margaret has been in my life for a long as I can remember.
I was one of her bridesmaids, as I was her husband's adopted sister. I have memories of her helping me over the years when I needed somebody to be there for me.
I used to look after Jeremy and Lisa when they were children and I hope they know I am the for them now if they need me xx

Margaret was my first cousin once removed. As a boy in the 1950s, we all lived near each other in Chatham. I remember Margaret as this happy young lady with refined ways who talked kindly to my brother, David and me. Later, I’m grateful to Margaret for giving my Mum, Edna, comfort and friendship during her lonely years as a widow, with many telephone calls and visits. Margaret was a bridesmaid at my Mum and Dad’s wedding at St Margaret’s Church, Rainham on 28 Feb 1942.
Farewell Cousin Margaret there will always be a place for you in my heart.
