In loving memory of Clare Elizabeth Flint (nee Isaac) who died on 4th January 2025 in Ruddington, Nottingham.
Born on 4th April 1981 in Redhill, Surrey to Keith George Isaac (George) and Anne Rosemary Isaac (nee Williams). Clare was the third of four siblings, Sarah and Robert older, with Edward the youngest.
After attending Wray Common and the Dunottar School in Reigate, she completed a degree in Human Biology at the University of Leeds, graduating in 2004. Clare worked variously in drug development, before finding her true calling following the obtaining of her RHS qualifications, when she worked as a Domestic Household Gardener and latterly as a gardener for the National Trust.
Whilst at University, Clare met Tom Flint and they married in September 2008 in Leeds, and went on to have two children, Afred George (Fred) in 2010 and Peggy Anne in 2013 of whom she was immensely proud.
Clare longed to be outdoors, especially where the mountains meet the sea, with North Wales her most favourite place. At home she would be found in the garden, keeping chickens, growing flowers, or vegetables for the dinner table. She loved her family and her friends.
