Jeanie Knapp (12 Oct 1962 - 17 Dec 2024)

In loving memory of Jeanie who sadly passed away aged 62 on 17th December 2024 at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, surrounded by her loving family.

Jeanie faced many challenges in her life and faced them with strength and resilience, shaping her into the compassionate and loving person she became. Despite her hardships, she created a family of her own and found love in the relationships she built throughout her life.

Jeanie was a devoted mother to Tanya and Darren and a proud grandmother to Shannon, Madison, Kiara, and Connor. She cherished her children and grandchildren with unconditional love, offering guidance, wisdom, and support. Her nurturing spirit left a lasting imprint on her family, and she was the cornerstone of their lives, providing a sense of love that will remain with them forever.

For 36 years, Jeanie shared a devoted partnership with Steve. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and mutual support. Their relationship was one of deep companionship, and Steve's unwavering presence was a source of comfort and joy for Jeanie throughout their time together.

Though her life was not without its trials, Jeanie met each one with courage, grace and humour. She was a woman of deep character, always putting the needs of others before her own, and her kindness and loyalty to those she loved will always be remembered.

In addition to her family, Jeanie was cherished by her friends and anyone fortunate enough to have crossed her path. She loved to socialise, was often the "soul of the party" and had a way of making people feel valued and special, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience. Jeanie will be deeply missed by her children, partner, extended family, and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her presence.

A private funeral service will be held in her memory at Kingsdown Crematorium on 24th January 2025 at 14:15.
