Mandy Anne Perkins (22 Feb 1969 - 8 Dec 2024)
Funeral Director
In loving memory of Mandy Anne Perkins who sadly passed away on 8th December 2024 at the age of 55 years old.
My mum is survived by her mother, 2 brothers and 2 adult sons both in they're middle to late 30's. Unfortunately there have been no grandkids which I know she was really looking forward to being a grandparent. Instead she had my dog as a grandkid and treated her as such. My mum would dogsit for me when I would go out or go to work but I know she was really looking forward to the real thing.
My mum was married but divorced after approximately 19 years.
My mum was a strong independent woman, who was caring, generous, loving, empathetic, non-judgemental and daft as they come haha. She was loved by most who met her as she had such a big heart. I know there have been many people over the years who have shared many happy memories with my mum and will be deeply saddened by this news and miss her greatly.
My mum went to many schools in her childhood and met many friends who are now like family due to the amount of time they were in her life.
My mum worked hard to give me and my brother a good life to the best of her abilities and progressed up the career ladder in any jobs she did. My mum was the best mum you could ask for and I'm grateful for the all time and memories we shared together.
My mum had many hobbies but the main things she loved to do was listening to music, going to all types of events including concerts, going on holiday, spending time with the people she loved, going to events and watching all types of sport. She also loved being a season ticket holder at Nottingham Panthers.
My mum had many challenges in her life from childhood until the day she passed but she always overcome them apart from the deterioration of her health in recent years. She battled through her back problem everyday for approximately 23 years but she never wanted any sympathy, she just got on with it everyday. Alongside all her own problems that she was dealing with she was always there supporting us and her friends. The one bit of solace I can take from her passing is that she is no longer suffering and I hope she is at peace.
You will never be forgotten and you will be forever in the hearts and minds of the people you have left behind.
Please rest in peace mum and love you so much x
