I will always remember Steve laughing about the first time I met him when I thru a punch at these two guys and missing both of them, Steve said lucky you knew them and pretending to go to hit them , when I told Steve I didn't know them and was trying to get them he cried with laughter and often reminded me of that day still laughing with tears in his eyes, That was Steve a lovely guy laughing at work and the pub . Stephen Edward Linforth (20 Jan 1959 - 3 Dec 2024)
Funeral Director
In loving memory of Stephen Edward Linforth who sadly passed away on 3rd December 2024.
Dad was the kindest funniest man I knew and he loved the small things in life. His family and friends meant the world to him and he just wanted everyone to be happy and enjoy themselves. His favourite saying was “it’s nice to be nice”.
As some of you may already be aware Dad wanted a celebration of life and memorial with us all together sharing great stories with a drink and good food.
There isn’t a person he knew that doesn’t have a funny or unique story about their time with him. His family and loved ones would love to hear all of these at his celebration of life.
His celebration of life will be held at the co op club on Friday 17th January at 3pm. The Ascot Suit on the right hand side. There will be a service and a time for you to say your goodbyes and celebrate Dads life with all his friends and family.
There will be no dress code and please dress and you would normally.
Please feel free to share any stories on this page and light a candle for him.
Also if you could please confirm attendance on here by clicking attend so we will have an idea on numbers.
Thank you all for your kind words and support xx
Rachel xx
