We will miss one of my favourite cousins in Rochester. Wally was kind to all of my family, especially Michael when he first arrived in England. Wally and Barbara went to Michael’s wedding in Sydney. With love from Joan and Russell

In loving memory of Wal from his sister Peg and her family in New Zealand. We remember his and Barbara's visits to New Zealand with great fondness and they were wonderful hosts when we visited in 2007. Rest in peace.

Wally - I remember the many family get togethers we shared many years ago. Some memories fade over time but those times with our family and yours, with Ted and Sheila and Jim remain strong. Wishing you a well deserved rest with Barbara at your side.

Uncle Wally - a true gentleman in every sense of the word. We have fond memories of you and Barbara attending our wedding with Dad, Gitti, Sheila and Ted in 2017, thankyou. Older memories from the 1960's and 70's will remain with me always.

Such sad news to hear of Uncle Wal passing away, lovely memories of our childhood with the cousins at Bonfire night, Xmas and days out. Uncle Wal was such a kind, calm and funny man but what an age he was. Gone to join Auntie Barbara which was where he would want to be. Remembered with love.
