Jo was a wonderful mother, sister, step sister, wife and daughter with many friends that she loved and loved her.
She was the fire that many warmed themselves on and the world is a colder place without her.
She was incredibly brave, funny and beautiful to the end and she died peacefully at home with her family.
It was her wish to have a small private funeral (immediate family only) and she did not want flowers but you can if you wish make a donation to the Mountbatten Hospice who helped us care for her at home.

Rest in eternal paradise Joanne, although I did not know you personally, I’ve learnt about the type of woman you are through your lovely son, Jack. And what a woman you are, so full of love for just about everyone you met and for life itself. To know you is to love you and it’s evident that many people did. I have no doubt you’ll leave the biggest hole in many hearts, but your memory will be scattered everywhere I’m sure. Life isn’t measured by time, but by impact. And I know you touched the lives of so many people deeply, your legacy will live on in the memories made, the love you gave and the lessons shared. My sincerest condolences to your family on the loss of such a beautiful, warm, kind hearted amazing woman. The skies will forever shine bright with you amongst the stars. 💕🫶🏼xxxx
