Over the 20+ year that I knew John I came to admire and respect him in his work ethic and ability and reliability. The first time I met John was when he was scrubbed with me for an ACL reconstruction and in his unfamiliarity with me he floundered a bit and I was upset but thereafter he was absolutely amazing and I came to rely on him more and more. If I had a difficult case it had to be John and I knew that as long as he was in the theatres my cases would always go smoothly. He was a pillar to knowledge and strength and I admired him for that and became very fond of him and I shall kiss him very much. Even when I visited him in the hospital in his last few weeks, he was positive and wanted to come back to work and knew more than the nurses looking after him. That was John
Happy we met - happy we part
May he rest in peace
God bless
🙏🙏🙏

I was a bridesmaid at John and Trish's wedding many years ago. He was a lovely man - caring and generous. I remember especially their kindness to me and John's amazing cooking. John's passing is a reminder to all to thank those who share their love with us while we can. RIP John. God bless you.
