As family and friends, we have suffered a huge loss to our lives with the passing of Ron on Wednesday 20th November 2024, three days before his 56th birthday.

While we mourn our loss, I plead with you all to remember the fond memories he gave us. His love for his family and investment into his friends, both near and far. We, the immediate family, want to preserve his legacy of helping others less fortunate than ourselves. We want Ron to be recognised and remembered by all, and follow on from his lead during his life.

Any donations in lieu of flowers, in Ron's memory, would be gratefully received for the 'African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust' and may be made online via the link on this page.

i’m writing this to show everyone how sweet and kind ron was.He was like a farther figure i never really had and he really did know how to brighten my day even on the days i didn’t feel like it being bright.Even when he was fighting for his life he’d message me everyday to make sure i was okay and to tell me how proud i was making him.It hurts to say he’s not here with us anymore but it’s nice to say he’s not in pain anymore and he’s finally free from the illness. He was the strongest man i knew even when he knew he wasn’t going to be here much longer he made sure i knew how much he loved me and i will forever appreciate him for that.My heart is still grieving him and wished he didn’t leave at a time where i need him the most but i’m so unbelievably happy with the send off he had.Forever in my heart ron rest in peace ❀️

Ron was a true friend you were caring, kind, warm, friendly, always happy with a smile. You were passionate about music, your family and volunteering for ACLT. When I told you years ago my pet name was Kit Kat you are the only person who chose to call me by this or Kat which was endearing. When you, I & Mau went clubbing you'd always check to make sure we were home safe. The last time we went out you stayed awake until Maureen got home which took a while. This shows what a selfless friend you are.
I like Maureen really miss you especially when I go to the music events, carnival and listening to soulful sounds. You're work on Mother Earth is done you've journeyed in heaven may God Bless you as you R.I.P rocking to the soulful sounds. I have many happy memories with plenty of laughter and jokes from you.
To your family my thoughts and prayers are with you may God shower you with peace and comfort in time is a healer.
From KitKat 😞
