In loving memory of Andrew Stephen Francis Bacon who passed away peacefully at home in Attenborough on 19th November 2024, aged 82 years.
He will be fondly remembered by Jan, his wife of 32yrs, children Nicholas and Lucy and 4 Grandchildren Rebekah, Tomas, Rudy and Francis along with other family members and friends.
He was a funny, kind and loving family man as well as an inspirational teacher, talented gardener and craftsman. He has left a legacy in so many ways and will be sorely missed by many.
After the Service, please join us at Cleve Lodge, Elm Avenue, Long Eaton NG10 4LR for refreshments and to share memories of Andy.
Family flowers only but donations gratefully received for the Nottinghamshire Hospice.
If you are unable to attend in person, Andrew's service will be streamed live and also available to watch for 28 days after the ceremony.

Mr Bacon was a lovely, humorous man. When at school, whether it was a sports fixture, sportsday or school performance, he was generous with his thought, and time, to encourage before and during, and congratulate afterwards, whatever the result. As we became older, he maintained his friendly manner, more often than not with a quip. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. RIP Mr Bacon.
