Dave was very kind to me in my early career as a Drainage Engineer at Hackney Council. He nurtured me in the role, but in turn I had to get him liver sausage rolls from the canteen. Dave had a wonderful sense of humour and of all the bosses I have had during my career i can honestly say Dave was the tops. He was determined and meticulous in his work dealings & I have adopted these attributes myself. Dave a lovely English Gentleman will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
