In loving memory of Patrick 'Pearse' Casey who sadly passed away on 22nd November 2024
Pearse, as he was better known to all of us, sadly passed in Croydon Hospital shortly after suffering a stroke at home.
Pearse was an undemanding freespirit; a loving son, brother, father, grand-father and uncle, he was a passionate music lover, wonderful raconteur and a very dear friend to many.
We look forward to welcoming you to celebrate his life with us at Croydon crematorium at 10:45 on Friday 13th December, and afterwards at The Albert Tavern, Albert Road, South Norwood.
Family flowers only please, but any donations are welcome to be made to The Stroke Association or Cancer Research.
Please wear bright colours and help us say farewell in the spirit in which he lived.

Visiting him was tough, seeing a man I love in a state of muteness, it was horrible. But I’m so glad I did, I got to see it in his eyes even when he couldn’t speak, that he was always a strong man and wasn’t going down without a fight. It reassured me in a way and made me proud to be the grandson of such a great man. Rest in peace grandad, forever and always!

It's a privilege to have become friends with my best friends Dad. It is also an honour to have known him. His legacy is the most mature and amazing grandchildren that he was so proud of. I've only ever been barred from a pub in the company of my own parents and a man I will always remember, Pearse rest not but party for ever and everyone xxx
