Dear Uncle Ray, thank you for all my wonderful memories visiting Grangehill Road and you visiting us here. Christmas time, birthdays and just because. Listening to you speak to Dad every week just talking about football for the whole call. You leave us with so much love from family and friends, you are hugely missed by everyone who knew you. Thank you, Uncle Ray, from Gaynor, Jonathan, Isabelle and Kieran xxxxx

Ray, I’m going to miss that cheeky smile, the one we gave each other that needed no words. Our lovely catch ups over apple turnovers and custard creams 😉 You often told me I gave great hugs but it’s your hugs I’m going to miss the most. Love you 💔

Dear Ray, so many precious memories of both you and lovely Eileen. A huge part of us kids having such a lovely time growing up on Grangehill road was that we all had such great parents who welcomed us all in to their homes and gardens to play. Remembering the August bank holiday BBQ’s, the family parties in the hall at the back of the pub, New Year’s Eve parties, fancy dress costumes and the wonderful holidays. Lots of love Kerry xx

Thoughts are with all of Ray's family at this sad time.
Ray was a lovely man who we were all very fond. We will miss seeing him at Millwall with his grandchildren. We also know that our own Dad, John Lengthorn, thought so much of Ray and Eileen and I am sure they will all be having another family party in heaven in to the early hours of the morning.
All our love, Garry, Grainne, Thomas, Georgina and Afia xxxxx

Lots of lovely memories from Grangehill Road, Ray. You and Eileen were always so welcoming, having us all at yours for parties, BBQ’s and more. I remember coming down just to see you both even when Tina wasn’t there. Rest easy our friend. Lots of love from Gemma and Janet xxx
