A donation in memory of Dorothy Bridge.
As many of you know, our mum, Dorothy died on the evening of 21st November this year. It’s a great testament to her strength of character and her sheer willpower that she saw (and thoroughly enjoyed) her 95th birthday, despite failing health and fading strength. Mum was always generous with her charity giving and one of the charities she was keen to support was the Air Ambulance Service. Mum strongly believed that this life-saving service should be fully funded by the State but, recognising that that wasn’t happening, she felt it was essential that those who can should donate to keep the Service operational. Mum was always sad to see cut flowers die and fade away so, rather than buying flowers, we'd like you to consider a donation here instead, or you can send a cheque, made payable to 'East Anglian Air Ambulance' to Andrew Bingham Independent Funeral Service, The Nutshell, Milton Road South, Stowmarket, IP14 1EZ. Please don’t feel any obligation to donate in her name but, if you do, please leave your name and a short message with any memories that you wish to share. Dorothy's Service of Thanksgiving will take place at St John the Divine Church, Elmswell on Friday 20th December, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.

With love from us all,
Jonathan and David.

We remember Dorothy in many special ways: dancing evenings and dancing lessons, various socials, meals, friendship and Pullman bears ( that she gave to the twins), are just a few of them; a lovely lady who was full of wisdom and joy. We will all miss her.Abigail,Jennifer,Kim and Peter

Dorothy was an amazing lady who fought her illness with stoicism until the end.
She had an interesting life which we really enjoyed hearing about. She will be missed by many.

Dorothy was such good company. I enjoyed our chats about where we both grew up in London. I shall remember her smile especially on her 95th birthday. A remarkable lady that will be sadly missed.
