In loving memory of Carl Michael Johnston who sadly passed away on 6th November 2024
Carl's life started in Lowestoft first born to Lynn & John Johnston & brother to Kelly & he moved to Norwich in his early twenties. He was a happy smiley character, a perfectionist, kind & always approachable.
He had fun times growing up, did gymnastics, army cadets, achieved duke of edinburgh award and go overnight fishing on his bike, had caring and loving heart. He had a holiday & weekend job at Pleasurewood Hills in his late teens which he thoroughly enjoyed and was proud of.
He took to a career as a Motor Mechanic & was very hard working. He always happy when using his BBQ or cooking, pottering in the garden, woodwork & perfecting vegetables patches,
He had a love for South West of England, New Quay but also loved the cooler weather & looking at the snow & listening to rain on the roof.
Family life was with his partner Naomi & Father to Zachary, he was elated with this path in his life and loved us very much. Towards the end years of his life he suffered with his mental well being, which has to this very sad path.
Good night My Smiler, rest in peace and keep us all safe where you can, love you always ❤ 🕊 xx

Hi Carlos, hope you're in a good place my friend... I have soooo many great memories of the times we had at work at Holborn tyres and canary cars, never a dull moment.. when you lived at mine for a few years we would spent many evenings challenging each other on the PlayStation trying beat each others lap times on gran turismo.. And don't forget all those nights out with our glow sticks on the dance floor.. You were there for me and my kids when we needed you and we will always remember you for that.. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed by us all ❤️

Remembering our chats we would have at work putting the world to right. You would moan every time a customer needed a bulb or wiper because you were busy 😂 I can remember when you used to bring Zachery to work and i would tell him that ‘daddy promised to take you to McDonald’s’ and off you would go. So many memories and all good memories. You will be very missed. Rest in peace Carl love to you family Zachery and Naomi 🕊️

I worked with Carl when he was a technician at Northgate. Carl always was respectful, kind and we would often chat on Saturday morning shifts. For a while he was the mobile tech and I would schedule his work and I sent him all over to repair vehicles, I’m sure I wound him up at times, but always remember having a good laugh in the office.

I am very sad to hear of his mental health decline.
Sending love to his Zachary, Naomi and his family at this very difficult time.

R.I.P
