Goodbye my sister

Rest in peace my friend.

Sadly missed.

I first met Jenny when I was 8 years old and she was one of my Cub leaders. As I grew up and become a leader myself, I saw that she was part of the fabric of scouting in the district, always invested in young people, immersed in running cub packs, events and camps. Even when she stopped doing the regular cub meetings she and Dick were duty scouters at Belchamps camp site and even ran one of the service crews where she was known as “Aunty Jen”. Even now at my time of life, I can recall with fondness cub camps and the wonderful district trips Jenny and the other leaders ran for us. Such a lovely Lady who gave so much service to the scouting community.

In memory of a lady who did so much for young people in the community.

GONE HOME

Met Jen many years ago as assistant Cub Scout Leader and later when when was ADC Cubs Scouts with Maplin District. You gave so much Jen sadly missed

We met Jen through Richard at Solo Sprayers. It didn't take long to realize how a nice person and couple we had come across. They looked after everyone at work. It was a pleasure working with her, and still is with Richard.

You gave alot

First met Jen when as young scout sent to fetch a paint brush when painting the caravan at shoebury cottage...that was alot of years ago... i wont mention running up the field at peter watson campsite..

I first met Jenny when I was a Cub and she has been there throughtout my adult life - a kind and loving person, who did so much for Cub Scouting in the District - you will be greatly missed.
