Rest in peace big brother. As I live in New Zealand Mike and I were only able to to spend 6 weeks together in the last 60 years, but we always spoke regularly
and we always had a laugh and shared a few tears through the years. Wish I could be with you all to say goodbye.

Rest in peace Mike. Thank you for all you did - athletics and road running in Norfolk would not exist at the level it is today without you. You will be missed by all of us.

I worked with Mike at Norwich City Council (Finance Department) and we remained friends after we both retired. Mike used to organise get togethers for other retired ex Norwich City Council employees for several years and he will be greatly missed. I am sad that I will not be able to attend the funeral as I will be away. Rest in peace.
