In remembrance of Tony Thorsen, who passed away on the 9th of November 2024 at the age of 65.

A cherished partner, brother, and uncle.

Famously known in Nottingham as Scouse Tony, he was a devoted Liverpudlian and an ardent supporter of Liverpool Football Club.

Tony had a profound love for all creatures, particularly those that were cuddly and furry, and he held a deep affection for his family, most notably his partner, Keith.

He was an enthusiastic chess player and an avid quizzer.

He leaves behind a profound emptiness in Keith's heart, as well as in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

All are very welcome to attend Tony’s funeral. A video link for those unable to attend is as follows:

I'll never forget the fun times we had with you and Keith after Liz's wonderful Sunday dinner. We'd argue about politics, play poker with a 5p ante and a maximum bet of 50p or go bingo in Beeston! Most of all, after a lifetime of being uncivilised, Liz and I had a joint Civilisation ceremony with you and Keith. Lisa was the only guest/witness we invited/allowed!
Love and happy memories, Phil xxx

Tony always tolerated my fake scouse accent with good grace.
At the fabled Robinswood House bike shed we often spoke footy chat and about how the Robinswood management could do better!
Tony was always forthright and took great pride in being a damn fine, accurate marker.
My condolences.
