Our love and sympathy to all the family. Bill was a fine man, a loving husband, father and grandfather as well as a distinguished professional. A long life well lived.

A man beloved by all who knew him. A true gentleman until the day he died. Thoughtful and caring. Loving and kind. Always putting others before himself.

I aspire to be like you, Grandad, and I am so grateful that part of you will continue on in me. Thank you for everything that you have given me just by being you. We are comforted in knowing that you are now with Granny and able to rest. I miss you both.

Bill has been a much loved Great Uncle all of my life. I have so many fond memories, many revolving around games of cricket and Clumber Park, with Aunty Una and Uncle Bill. They are both very much missed. My condolences go to Stephen and Nigel and all the family.

Much love to all the family following the sad loss of Uncle Bill. He has always been the kindest and much loved Uncle to me and to my children, and his great great nephew too. I was his and Aunty Una's bridesmaid aged 3 and much later he gave me away at my 2nd marriage. He has been lovely and caring to me all my life and I will miss him very much.
