Farewell schoolmate and housemate, from those days I remember fun and exciting things would happen around you.
You were a joy magnet!
I’ll remember those times with a smile that no doubt many others will have.

We both have some lovely memories of Gill and are devastated about her passing. Life wasn’t kind to her but she was pure of heart and so kind. I know my mum particularly valued her incredible support throughout mum’s cancer diagnosis and treatment. During this time Gill was constantly on the phone to mum, providing her with heartfelt support and love.

RIP Gill, we love you. Becky and Gabrielle xxx

I never met you, Gill, but I understood a little of your life through your sister, a long time friend from university. Life wasn't always kind to you but you were always kind to animals - cats and dogs! I am so glad that Julie was with you at the very end. Rest in peace, Gill, free from pain and suffering. Much love Julie and Jim Squires

  • Dear Gill, may you soul find eternal peace. I had the pleasure of knowing you though your beloved sister Julie. You bond was truly special, and she often told me about your special moments together at Manchester City matches. She was by your side until the very end, and I hope you’ve found tranquility in your heavenly home. Please know that we will cherish and support Julie; It’s the least we can do for someone as kind and caring as you. In loving memory memories, particulary of our exchange when my English was less than perfect Karima.

It was with great sadness I learned of Gill’s passing. We shared many happy years growing up together in Oakleigh Drive. Remembering the shows we performed for our parents, roller skating routines performed in the road and carefully dividing up our sweets purchased on a Saturday morning.
Thinking of you Julie at this very sad time and sending you much love. Sue xx

In memory of many happy times spent with you at your house, in the Red Lion and at quite a few parties. I know you struggled over the last few years but your spark was still there when you felt well and we did have some laughs !

Sending love and thoughts to Julie and other family members
