In loving memory of Richard Padgham who sadly passed away on 19th October 2024

Keith Morris donated in memory of Richard

I first met Richard 50 years ago when we worked in the same drawing office. He was always such wonderful company and I always enjoyed being with him.
He nearly succeeded in getting me to buy a small sailing dinghy to be able to share in one of his many interests.RIP Richard.

Only just heard this tragic news. I started my working life in 1986 as a fresh faced 16 year old holding a measuring staff for Richard while he did his overhead line surveys for Seeboard. We shared an interest in motorbikes. Richard loved his old BMW. Such a genuinely lovely guy. RIP

I first met Richard back in the late 1980's as a young 17 year old when i joined the drawing office at Seeboard. My first job was as Richard's "staff man" helping him on his surveying work. I got to know Richard very well over the following years until his retirement from the company around 2009/10, when sadly i lost touch with him. I was deeply saddened yesterday to learn of his recent passsing - Richard was a genuinely lovely guy and his memory will stay with me for the rest of my life. Rest in peace, Richard x

Richard loved his boats and spent many satisfying hours doing them up and sailing them.

I met Richard in the Crawley office of Seeboard over 30 years ago. We had similar interests and shared the very niche hobby of model glider flying. I enjoyed his company and his many amusing anecdotes while model-flying over Ashdown Forest.
When my wife and I had a daughter 12 years ago, Richard became a devoted godfather who never forgot birthdays or Christmas.
Rest in peace Richard.

Richard could see planes stacked up preparing to land at Gatwick airport from the front of his house. Then a tower block was built that obstructed the view. He never mentioned it. When I did he said "People have to live somewhere". That was so unselfish.
