Riley sat outside your bedroom door tonight as if to say let’s go inside and see mummy.
I opened the door & went inside & sat on your bed & just started to cry.
Riley was there with me as I cried into your pillow & I told you I love you & miss you, after all the crying I looked at your pillow and I said, “please let there be a tissue under the pillow”and I lifted it up and there was a tissue under your pillow, it made me laugh so much & it brought back all the fun memories we used to have every night with those hundreds of tissues you would stash under your pillow & how much you would laugh because I had caught you out again.
It’s as if Riley knew that I needed to laugh & cry with you tonight mum.
I miss you so much goodnight mummy Xxx
