In loving memory of Richard Stuart Scott who sadly passed away on 25th October 2024, aged 71 years.

Richard will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Family flowers only please. If desired, donations in Richard's memory would be gratefully received for 'Meningitis Now' and can be made by visiting the link on this page or by donation box available at the close of the service.

After the service, there will be a gathering for drinks and light buffet for Richard in the function room at the Napier Arms Pub, 153 Britton Street, Gillingham ME7 5ES. Please note parking is very limited in the immediate area, but there is parking down towards the Medway Park (ME7 1HF)

Just wanted to say thank to everyone who attended the service on Friday and also for those who came and celebrating dads life afterwards with some great stories. Thank you to all those who donated as raised an additional £41 so I have sent that onto meningitis now also. So thank you

I was extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Richard. I only got to meet him the once in the singles plate this year. He was very friendly and complimentary. After the match, we had a few more games of pool and a drink together. Rest in peace.

Oh Rich sorry to hear of ur passing mukka, we had so great night's playing pool against each other's teams over the years, so many laughs I've lost count and of course playing together down the chatham club in the monday quads, I've a lovely pic of the 4 of us I will cherish m8, rest easy my good friend xxx

So sad to hear of Richard’s passing, a lovely guy, much admired by all the players in the Medway Pool League. On a personal note, I had a fantastic relationship with Richard and will miss his reliable and valuable contributions to the league.
