Steve was my cousin and still is.
Yes I know it sounds really weird but those that knew Steve will understand because once you've met him you don't forget him.
I wouldn't say we were close but neither was we distant. When ever we did meet up even if it was just on the street it was a hand shake and we would carry on the conversation from the last time we met. It generally started ribbing eachother about football. Steve's a top man and is sorely missed. Sleep well Cuz.
