Christine Havelock, Sylvia Johnson, Trevor Havelock and Mike Johnson who were friends for life. I think this was taken in the late 1970s or early 80s. As a family we saw them at least once a week and had a couple of boating holidays with them.

From the Parnaby family, who have all grown up knowing Sylvia and the Johnson's throughout the years, which dates back I think to about 1956. We were told of the fond times in Malta and Singapore where mums and dads worked and lived together. And later with the frequent visits to the UK or with Syvia (and Michael) to Australia. I will always remember the times together, and look back on her kindness and hospitality. As they say, till we meet again.

I remember my cousin Sylvia as always full of fun and although a little younger than her we spent many happy times growing up together in West Wickham. After she married Michael we kept in touch exchanging our adventures and family news. Sylvia was always a positive person and always looked on the bright side. Love to all the family - we are thinking of you.

It was such a pleasure to facilitate a catch up between Sylvia and mum and I learned so much about our shared past. We were so hoping to repeat the experience but sadly He called Sylvia home before we could arrange another meeting. Sadly missed, much loved. Rest in Peace Sylvia.

It has been a joy to have known Sylvia for over 50 years and to have followed the family’s progress through those years.

I have fond memories' of Sylvia who was a first cousin. Always cheerful - Glass half full. My late sister Susan was one of her Bridesmaids and I remember attending Sylvia & Michael's wedding. We kept in touch from time to time and we used to enjoy talking about our shared interest in writing, producing and directing Pantomimes. "Oh, yes we did!"
Rest in peace Sylvia, and rise in glory. Posted with love to all the family.
