I was always, and still am, so proud to call you my Godfather, Roy. The most kind, generous and well respected man whose memory will live on in all of those that you impacted, especially your beautiful family. I have only ever experienced life with you in it, maybe that’s why it feels so strange now 💔Love you Roy. Katie, Chris, Florence and Evie xxxxx

Dear Roy, you have been family to me since the day I was born. I had the pleasure of working with/for you for 20 years. ”He’s pretty much my uncle” is what I would always say to people on site, because you were.

Your success in business is respected greatly by myself and everyone whose path you crossed. You were the right mix of firm but fair and your business relationships echoed this and were build on trust, good morals and integrity.

Business relationships aside, you will be loved and remembered the most for your kindness, generosity, you touched so many people’s lives.

Your reason why, was family. Your family meant everything to you and your love for them all was endless. You are one of the most respectable, hard working men I have ever met, it was a pleasure Roy and I am forever grateful for everything you taught me.

Rest in peace xx

Love
Mark, Claudia and Valentina.

Roy (Martin) your genuine love and care for our bunch of lads at Rainham 84 was like no other. We never went without. Your were like family to Rachel and I and we will always miss you. Peter and David are great men raised with such high morals and virtues and a reflection of you. We are blessed to have had you in our lives and you are truely missed.

A small token for a man that was truly one in a million. Usually around this time of year we’d be thinking “what can we get for Roy, he has everything”, the answer is simple, love, and Roy, you have that in abundance. Finn put it best when he said “we miss Gar don’t we, but we were lucky to have him”.
Goodnight Roy, God bless, love you millions ❤️
