Uncle Roy, this week we said goodbye to you and boy, it was hard! There were so many tears but laughter amongst it all too. What a send-off you had. Barbara and the boys did you proud, it was an honour to be there although, of course we would much rather you be here with us still. Thank you for your generosity, kindness, love and being such a big part of our lives. Love and miss you 💕

It was an absolute pleasure knowing and spending time with Roy.

So generous in every way - yet humble with it. Always enjoyed chatting whether it be about life, football or property.

A true gentleman who will be sorely missed by so many.

Rest in peace.

I have so many memories from my Rainham 84 days, that just wouldn't have been possible with you. I'll always remember them and those moments at parties and up Savacentre. I always left a conversation with you laughing or smiling. RIP Roy
