Madeline brought her bright smile, intelligence, enthusiasm and generosity to all her activities, which were many. She was a stalwart of the book club, played tennis enthusiastically and was always willing to lend a hand with tennis club gardening - the plants she contributed or nursed back to health stand as a reminder of her contribution.
