So many happy memories growing up as Katie’s friend and spending countless hours at Elaine and Eddie’s.

Elaine and Eddie’s home was full of laughter and such a fun place to grow up. There was never a dull moment! From hide and seek in the dark with the power off (no cheating!), to pool parties, tasting games, filming our own pop videos, Katie’s very own bar and their amazing snack baskets (I even have one in my home now—thanks to Elaine!❤️).

Elaine was a wonderful mum and so loved by many at the youth centre, where she touched so many lives. Katie, Emma and Eddie—you were truly blessed. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Sending all my love and strength to you during this difficult time xxx

We were a group of six mums who first met at the 'school gate' Barrington School. As our children's friendships grew so did ours. We soon began to celebrate our birthdays with special 'birthday lunches' and 'garden parties'! Where there was always plenty of laughter (especially from Elaine) and plenty of 'fluid refreshments' lol
Yes, I have some very special memories of the Barrington mums...so pleased that Elaine was part of our group. It was lovely to have known her.
Our love and prayers are with Eddie, Emma, Katie and family today 🙏 ❤️

The good old days! My 1st job was as Saturday girl at 13 at Elaine’s hairdressers. I worked there for many years. I remember Elaine’s oldest Emma being in the shop when she was a baby. We have sent each a Christmas card every year since. RIP Elaine 💔

To my first ever mentor and friend when I joined Danson Youth Centre as a part time worker - she was such a force of nature - always thoughtful, caring and full of creativity and for years the backbone of that youthcentre. Great memories - espeically of the times we went away on residentials with the young people to Hindleap Warren and later on when she came to work at the
YMCA in Darford with my youthwork team there. Beyond words she was a loyal, true and caring soul who above all loved her family to bits. with all my love. Fil xx
