In loving memory of John Cocozza who sadly passed away on 20th October 2024, at the age of 84. Soulmate of Fran. Beloved father of Rob, Paula and Joe; and a doting grandfather to Elsa, Gabriel and Sylvia. Kind and loving, gentle and funny and creative to the end.
John had scarlet fever as a young child, and in later life discovered that he had heart problems as a result. So instead of flowers, we are raising funds for the British Heart Foundation. We're grateful for every donation. Helping in some small way to improve the lives or life chances of others seems like a fitting legacy. Thank you to everyone who visits this page.

In loving memory of my old mate and golfing buddy. We never took our golf or ourselves too seriously, it was just an excuse to get together and enjoy each others company. I’ll miss you my old friend.

Uncle John was a kind, caring, creative, witty and thoughtful man who always greeted us with a smile and warm welcome. Such a clever man who loved to show us what he had been working on in in his garage and share his latest creations. He also loved to talk football and recall memories from his time playing. He will never be forgotten. Sending so much love to Auntie Fran, Rob, Paula, Joe, Ben, Elsa, Gabriel and Sylvia, all of whom he adored. From Laura, Gary and Olivia X

Joe donated in memory of John

A warm, generous man who loved his family and his friends.

A gentle man, who loved nature and the outdoors, whose instinct was always to nourish and protect.

A talented man, with a creative, sensitive soul, who drew, built and crafted things all his life.

A funny man, with a playful sense of humour, who took great joy from the small, simple things.

A brave, selfless man, who always stood up for people, who risked his own life to save another.

A man who always put his family first.

My hero.

Thank you dad. Rest in peace x

In loving memory of the greatest brother a man could wish for. We shared a lively childhood only separated by two and a half years, we continued our friendship into our teenage years and on into manhood. We shared many hilarious antics and always our lives reflected a rich vein of humour and a mutual love of sport. I'm hurting to lose John, but there are strong memories which will never fade.
